Eiji Yoshikawa is someone you have seen pacing the NAB halls for decades as publisher or editor of TV Technology and other magazines in Japan.
He is also a philanthropist in the best sense of the word – he has set up a system in the Philippines for training young adults in the science of boxing, and dragging them up the ladder from the poverty they were stuck in to educated and capable being.
Unfortunately, the struggle hasn't been helped by the typhoons that have ravished the islands the last few years. Suddenly he was thrown into the even broader needs of the community.
