Digital Asset Management technology has to be the underlying hip technology of the universe right now. From oil and gas to our parents iPad, everyone has more data than we could have imagined only 5 years ago. Gone are the days when we had to program a calculator with 16k of memory. Now it needs a GUI that is 10 meg, and it will store and manipulate every possible permutation in case that answer might be associated with something the computer has to handle a month from now.
Createasphere has a conference for that on 22 and 23 February in Los Angeles, but it won't be about calculators. It will be buzzword compliant though. Check out the PR here, and if you go, please let me know how it was. I won't be in LA then.
